CatDNA.org Test Ordering Process
When you choose CatDNA.org, you can be confident in the DNA testing service you order. The entire process, from the time you choose your service to the time you receive your results, follows a standard order of events.
1. Choose and order your CatDNA.org service online.
Click on the link to the DNA service of your choice to review the description and order your test.
2. Receive your CatDNA.org DNA collection kit.
You will need one kit for each cat you would like to test.
3. Collect the DNA samples from your cat(s).
Please visit the Feline DNA Sample Collection page to review the simple steps of collecting your cat's DNA.
4. Return the DNA collection kit with your cats' samples to the laboratory.
An envelope is included in your DNA collection kit for returning the samples to DDC. Please use proper postage.
5. Receive your CatDNA.org test results within 10 working days.
This turnaround time is based on the date that your cat's DNA samples are received the lab.
